The frame is still sound

- The window is under 15 years old and otherwise fine
The window is at end of life

Fogging between the panes is the one most people misread. It does not mean the whole window failed - it means the hermetic seal on that insulated glass unit did, and on many windows the glass unit can be replaced without swapping the whole frame. We will tell you when that is the cheaper right answer, and when the frame is too far gone to bother. Either way you get the honest version, not the whole-house pitch.

My windows fog up between the panes - do I need all new windows?
Not necessarily. Fogging between the panes means the seal on that insulated glass unit failed and moisture got in. On many windows the glass unit itself can be replaced without swapping the whole frame, which is far cheaper. If the frames are also old or rotted, full replacement makes more sense. We will tell you which one you are actually looking at.
Are replacement windows worth it in the Houston heat?
